Join a Progressive Talented ER and Specialty Team in the warm, sunny coast of South Carolina!

We are actively hiring to add a Board Certified or Board-eligible Veterinary Dermatologist to add to our dermatology  team. New River Veterinary Specialists opened in 2022 and is a  custom built 15,000-square foot state of the art facility located 12 miles from the beaches of Hilton Head and 25 minutes to Savannah, GA. We are a privately owned VECCS Level 1 trauma center along with having 7 days a week in hospital Neurology and Critical Care coverage. New River has all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a custom built state-of-the-art facility with a full in-house lab, 16-slice helical CT, 1.5-tesla MRI, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology suite, oncology suite, multiple ultrasounds, in house blood bank and component therapy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, full service sports medicine and rehabilitation department, and a dedicated intensive care unit including long-term mechanical ventilation.

We will provide any additional equipment necessary for a state-of-the-art dermatology service (CO2 laser, video otoscope with flush tower and will have allergens for allergy testing).

The NRVS team currently includes 2 Internists, 2 Criticalists, 2 Surgeons (who is also Certified in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine), 12 Emergency doctors (and growing), Oncology, Ophthalmology, part-time Cardiology, 2 Neurologists, a VTS-ECC, VTS in Neurology and an amazing team of technicians, assistants and CSR’s.  Our Internal Medicine service runs an active interventional radiology and interventional urology service completed with a Holmium laser.

4-10 hour shifts and our benefits package includes CE, organization dues/licensure, health & dental insurance, supplemental insurance, 401K with 4% match, PTO, paid sick time off and pet insurance allowance.
