Background:

DCA was founded in December 2014 and is privately/family owned.  We are supported by numerous, nearby, veterinary clinics that have strong knowledge of dermatology and who value early patient referrals.  We also receive numerous, regular, referrals from within the state.  DCA has built a very strong reputation in Washington State for referrals regarding the work up and treatment of aural masses and otitis media/interna as well as referrals for CO2 laser procedures.

Clinic Highlights:

Your clinic will be equipped with:

  • An in-house CT scanner; training and mentorship would be provided. Scans are routinely preformed with routine, reversible, sedation and interpreted by an outside veterinary radiology group.
  • 4 spacious exam rooms
  • Exam rooms equipped with Storz video-otoscopy; allowing the dermatologist the most advanced ability to assess ear canal health and provides owners an impactful image that generally leads to higher rates of compliance for diagnostics and treatments.
  • An Aesculight CO2 laser
  • Full anesthesia /wet table, with Storz video-otoscopy tower with Storz Aida HD video-recording, and Storz VetPump.
  • Nikon Eclipse microscope
  • Standalone building

DCA would love to find a likeminded, dedicated, family oriented, and compassionate dermatologist, committed to your own personal health, the practice, our referral base, and their clients and pets.  Although not required, an ideal candidate would also be motivated to create a residency and mentoring program.  The candidate, if not experienced in areas of CT, aural mass removal procedures, myringotomy procedures, or with use of CO2 laser procedures, would be open to being mentored or sharing/deferring those cases.

DCA is happy to offer:
• Competitive compensation

• 4- Day work week
• Relocation Assistance Package
• Health benefits (vision/dental/life insurance)
• Paid parental leave
• Annual CE Stipend
• Simple IRA w/ employer match
• Annual Paid Time Off
• Possible partnership opportunities for the right, and motivated, candidate!
