Dear Colleagues,
To our new Diplomates: Congratulations on this incredible milestone. Your dedication and perseverance have earned you the esteemed title of DACVD®!
Congratulations to all the mentors and others, including family and loved ones who contributed to the training and support of these new Diplomates, for a job well done.
Thank you to the members of the Examination Committee, Drs. Ben Tham (Chairperson), Michaela Austel, Petra Bizikova, Teresa Boehm, Christina Gentry, Alexandra Gould, Ina Herrmann, Allison Inga, Christoph Klinger, Carine Laporte, Catherine Milley and Andrew Simpson who devoted a considerable amount of their time and energy to the construction and administration of the exam. Thank you to all the volunteer subject matter experts (SMEs) for helping make sure our exam is accurate and relevant.
Residency training requires a collaborative effort, and we are equally thankful to the members of the Education and Credentials Committees for their continued support and guidance. Finally, thank you to our exceptional Executive Secretary, Alexis Borich, for her endless support of our residents and ensuring they all remain on track with their programs.
I look forward to joining the rest of our College in recognizing and celebrating these new Diplomates at the upcoming NAVDF meeting in Orlando, Florida, this April.
As we approach the close of 2024, I wish you all a safe, joyful, and healthy holiday season.
Sincerely,
Andrew Rosenberg
