Webinar: DermPath #2 - Histopathologic Pattern Analysis

We are excited to offer a two-part webinar series focusing on Dermatohistopathology. These live webinars provide an excellent opportunity to dive into the topic and learn how it interconnects with dermatology care.

This second lecture will include key diagnostic features for selected diseases to demonstrate different histologic patterns in dermatopathology, including inflammatory, non-inflammatory, and neoplastic diseases. Review of special stains and immunostains commonly used in dermatopathology will also be included.

The ACVD is grateful to Dr. Ward for her willingness to share her passion and expertise! Recordings of these lectures will be available on the ACVD website for 1 year after the live training sessions.

Dr. Jennifer Ward received her DVM from Washington State University. She completed a residency and advanced training in anatomic pathology in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Pathology at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. This was followed by a fellowship in advanced training in dermatopathology at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. Subsequently, Dr. Ward joined Phoenix Central Laboratory pathology service. She currently is the founding owner and directing pathologist at Specialty Vetpath and SVP Alliance.
